About Us

Imperial Bank commenced operations as Imperial Finance and Securities Company Limited in March 1993. We became a fully fledged commercial bank in January 1996. Ranked amongst the top 10 Banks in Kenya in a recent survey by Market Intelligence, Imperial Bank is committed to good Corporate Governance and maintaining Statutory Capital Requirements.

It is due to this commitment that we have won the FIRE (Financial Reporting Award) five times. The award which is presented annually by the ICPAK, Capital Markets Authority and Nairobi Stock Exchange, recognizes financial transparency and disclosures relating to sound corporate governance practices. The Bank's strong results show the effectiveness of staff training and development and the appraisal of staff against set annual objectives.

The head office and Upper Hill branch are located on Bunyala Road in Nairobi. We also have branches in the city centre, Parklands, Industrial Area and Karen.
At the Coast we have branches on Kaunda Avenue, Mombasa, at Galana Centre, Malindi, and Diani on Beach Road next to Colliers Centre, Kilifi at the Kilifi Arcade and in Watamu on Tourist Road.

We are now open in Eldoret at Imperial Court and plans are underway for new branches in other parts of the country.
